Diesel Fleet Shop Helper

The Diesel Fleet Shop Helper assists the Rental Department, Service Department, and Used Truck Reconditioning operations. They also maintain various lots and shops, assist where needed in all areas, and handle routine rental check-in and check-out processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check-in, check-out, cleanup, wash, pull around, park, refuel, etc.
• Assist with driver and truck movements to meet customer needs.
• Perform various tasks to help administrative staff.
• Assist with service work, pickup and delivery, and other tasks as assigned by Idealease Service Supervisors.
• Assist with shop upkeep including trash removal, parts stocking and running, errand running, other tasks as assigned.
• Assist with de-identification, cleanup, photos of vehicles.
• Assist with minor repairs, help with reconditioning as needed.
• Develop Tech skills, assist with PM or other repairs as needed.
• Complete Idealease Technician training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs and carry a distance of 5 feet.
• Valid Drivers License or the ability to obtain one
• High School diploma or equivalent plus special technical training is desired
