MILWAUKEE, Wisc.—Lakeside International Trucks recently opened a new 10,000 sq. ft. full service commercial truck dealership located just off I-43 at 11000 W Silver Spring Road, in Milwaukee, WI. The Lakeside International Trucks Milwaukee dealership offers new and used truck sales, parts sales and full service for International® and all makes trucks. Commercial truck rental and leasing services are offered by Badgerland Idealease, a subsidiary of Lakeside International Trucks.

To create the Milwaukee dealership location, Lakeside International Trucks acquired Lakeshore Fleet Maintenance, a well-known and highly regarded service-only facility, in January of 2020 and began renovations immediately to convert the location into a full-service commercial truckdealership. “We invested more than $2 million to acquire and create this very strategic location along the I-43 corridor between Milwaukee and Green Bay,” explained Bill Reilley, Jr, President, Lakeside International Trucks. “We are committed to providing the very best sales, parts, and service capabilities which are the main factors for maximizing vehicle uptime and improving the service our customers can provide to their customers. I’m also pleased we were able to hire Glenn Valenstein, the former owner of Lakeshore Fleet Maintenance as our Milwaukee Service Manager. Customers and fleet managers across the country trust Glenn and the Milwaukee service shop as their main truck service and maintenance location.”

The dealership has 9 service bays and an extensive on-site parts inventory that is backed by daily deliveries from Lakeside International Trucks’s own Parts Distribution Center and International Truck’s Parts Distribution Center. In addition to continuing to offer mobile maintenance services, Lakeside International Trucks also provides free parts delivery to customers from this location. Since the acquisition, Lakeside International Trucks has doubled the location’s parts inventory, added a parts delivery vehicle, and created two new parts delivery routes. Additionally, seven parts staff members, three service technicians, and a full-time truck sales representative has been hired to help customers source and build trucks to meet their unique applications.

“In the coming months, we plan to extend our retail hours to further meet the needs of the businesses in the Milwaukee area and for those customers passing through the area along I-43. On January 4, 2021, Lakeside International Trucks closed its 2-bay Random Lake location. Random Lake customers will continue to have parts delivery in the area and will be serviced 25 miles to the south at the West Bend dealership or 27 miles to the north at the new Milwaukee dealership.
